Even if I don’t see it again—nor ever feel it
I know it is—and that if once it hailed me
it ever does—
And so it is myself I want to turn in that direction
not as towards a place, but it was a tilting
within myself,
as one turns a mirror to flash the light to where
it isn’t—I was blinded like that—and swam
in what shone at me
only able to endure it by being no one and so
specifically myself I thought I’d die
from being loved like that.

im tired of trying to entertain ppl that don’t care. its particularly hurtful rn because im really craving human interaction. ive had so much I want to say lately. anyway, gonna push this energy into something else I guess. which is hard to do. hard to put yourself first and try to do something to better yrself when you already feel like shit. but xxxx love u all

Waltz With Baltz no. 1
Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, 2011

Lewis Baltz was a leader in the New Topographics movement in the 1970s–he had an amazing vision.
“His work is focused on searching for beauty in desolation and destruction. Baltz’s images describe the architecture of the human landscape: offices, factories and parking lots. His pictures are the reflection of control, power, and influence by and over human beings.”
